Now make it
matter to
the room.
You have the experience. You have something worth saying. Now you have a keynote, pitch, client presentation or leadership meeting to prepare for.
What does your audience need to understand? Why should they care? What do you want them to do next?
I’ll help you answer those questions, then build, rehearse and refine your presentation. Day one is for creating it. Day two is for testing it out loud, receiving feedback and making it stronger. Not just notes on how to present. Work on the presentation you actually need.
Different rooms.
The same need
to influence.
Make your expertise easier to buy.
Shape a keynote, client presentation or workshop that makes your thinking clear, shows the value of your work and gives people a reason to continue the conversation.
Get people behind your vision.
Build a presentation for customers, partners or investors. Explain the opportunity, make your story relevant and be clear about the support or decision you’re asking for.
Turn a good idea into a decision.
Present a strategy, lead a change or make a case to senior stakeholders. Translate complexity into a message people can understand, remember and act on.
Your next presentation
Two days.
Work you can use.
Bring a real presentation or an opportunity you’re preparing for. I’ll help you shape your message, build the structure and rehearse the sections that matter.
- Day one: Create the presentation.
Clarify your audience and purpose, find the thread, then build your argument, stories and supporting slides.
- Day two: Bring it to life.
Work on your delivery, rehearse key sections, receive my feedback and refine your presentation.

Three elements.
One presentation.
Content, connection and collateral work together. This is the framework I use to help you create a presentation with a clear message, a connection to the room and a reason to act.
Content + connection
Inspiration
Content + collateral
Insight
Connection + collateral
Influence
More than
what you say.
My book Exceptional Speaking explores content, connection, collateral and commerciality. This masterclass brings those ideas to the presentation you need to create.
Content
Know your message. Build a clear thread, a useful structure and a reason for every story, example and piece of evidence.
Connection
Understand the people in the room. Speak to their challenges and make your delivery feel like a conversation, not a performance.
Collateral
Make the visuals support the message. Use slides, models and supporting materials to clarify your thinking, not compete with it.
Commerciality
For consultants and founders, connect your speaking to business opportunities beyond the room. For leaders, apply that purposeful approach to the decision or support your presentation needs to earn.
Based on Exceptional Speaking. All models © Jane Anderson.
Build it.
Deliver it.
Refine it.
Create the
presentation.
Start with your audience and the change you want to create. Then turn your expertise into a presentation with a clear purpose and a logical flow.
Bring one real presentation or opportunity to work on.
- Know the room and the outcome
Identify your audience’s challenges, what matters to them and the action or decision your presentation needs to support.
- Find the thread
Clarify your one-word theme, develop your “bumper sticker” message and organise the core points you want people to remember.
- Build the argument, stories and supporting slides
Create an opening, a clear sequence of ideas and a purposeful close. Choose stories, evidence and examples that serve the message, and draft the visuals that help explain it.
Your working outcome: a working presentation with a clear structure, selected stories and evidence, and a draft of the supporting slides or materials you need.
Bring it
to life.
Move from the page to the room. Work on how you deliver your message, how your materials support it and what needs refining through rehearsal.
Connection matters more than a flawless performance.
- Make the connection
Work on your voice, pace, presence and storytelling. Learn how preparation and rehearsal help you stay focused on your audience, even when nerves show up.
- Rehearse and receive feedback
Present key sections, test what lands and receive my feedback on your message and delivery. See where your audience needs a clearer explanation, a stronger example or more space.
- Refine and present again
Apply the feedback, simplify visuals where needed, then rehearse again. Strengthen your transitions and close, and identify what still needs work before the real presentation.
Your working outcome: a presentation you have built and rehearsed, with individual feedback on key sections and a clear plan for final preparation.
Something
you can
use.
- A clear message built for a specific audience.
- A presentation structure you can develop and reuse.
- Stories and evidence that support your core points.
- A purposeful approach to slides and supporting materials.
- Feedback on your delivery and a rehearsal plan.
- A close that makes the next action clear.

Exceptional
Speaking.
The Leader’s Playbook for World Class Persuasive Presentations.
I didn’t begin as a natural speaker. I had to learn how to structure a presentation, connect with an audience and build the craft through rehearsal.
I wrote Exceptional Speaking to share those lessons. This masterclass takes the thinking off the page and puts it to work on your presentation.
Clarity. Practicality.
Real support.
Experiences of my broader speaking, mentoring and coaching work.
“I’ve spent 12 months working with Jane to grow my influence through a stronger personal brand. … Because of working with Jane, I have been braver than I knew I could be.”

“Working with her has meant that I have more clarity over who I am and what I could be, more certainty over how to achieve my goals and more credibility as a thought leader and service provider.”

“When in need of clarity, Jane cuts through the fog and guides you clearly … While we’re experts in our own chosen specialties, Jane is the expert in helping you be THE expert.”

“Do yourself no better favour than this: work with Jane Anderson.”

“I can honestly say that Jane is a phenomenal coach and thought leader: she helped me put structure, confidence, and fresh energy behind my vision.”

“Whether it’s strategy implementation or tactical application, Jane has not only been-there-done-that but can also distil it in a way that is 100% actionable.”

“What I value most is that Jane rolls up her sleeves. She doesn't just give advice; she stays in it with you until it works.”

“What I value most is that Jane helps me focus on what really matters. The right positioning. The right words. The right message.”

“Jane's focus (both as a mentor and as an engaging conference keynote speaker) is on tailoring the right approach for each of her clients and not a 'cookie-cutter' approach.”

“Anyone trying to create and demonstrate a point of difference would benefit from working with Jane and her team.”

“Jane teaches an amazing blueprint and an amazing process for getting your ideas out of your head and onto paper.”

“I loved the process. … I was able to put together a structure and outline for a new keynote.”

Before
you join.
Do I need to be a professional speaker?
No. This is for consultants, founders and leaders who need to present their ideas clearly. Your presentation could be for a conference, a client, an investor or an internal leadership audience.
What should I bring?
Bring a real presentation or a clear idea of the opportunity you’re preparing for. If you have an existing outline or slide deck, use it as your starting point. You don’t need a finished presentation.
Is this about content or delivery?
Both. Day one focuses on your message, structure, stories and supporting slides. Day two focuses on delivery, rehearsal, individual feedback and refinement, so the presentation works beyond the page.
Will my entire presentation be finished?
The focus is a strong working presentation and rehearsed key sections, not a promise of a fully designed slide deck or a word-perfect script. The amount you complete will depend on your starting point and the scope of your presentation.
What if I get nervous presenting?
You don’t need to arrive without nerves. The focus is clarity, preparation and rehearsal, so you have something practical to rely on rather than waiting to feel more confident.
