Present With Influence

Craft a world class keynote presentation and elevate your confidence for your next conference or event

Create greater engagement, drive action and become a world class communicator

A woman in a green blazer is giving a presentation on stage at a large conference or event. The stage has a screen showing a car, and the audience seated in rows of pink chairs is attentively listening. The venue has colorful lighting and several levels of seating.

Are you a thought leader, professional speaker, consultant or advisor who is:

  • struggling to deliver keynotes and presentations that are engaging, insightful and inspire action, often leaving opportunities on the table.

  • worried you’re becoming irrelevant or missing out on major speaking opportunities as expectations around leadership evolve.

  • want to deliver presentations and keynotes to a world class level that meeting planners, bureaus and conference organisers can have confidence in booking you

  • feeling invisible or overlooked, unable to clearly communicate their value or make a lasting impression.

  • speaking publicly or pitching under pressure and it’s triggering nerves or fears of being seen as incompetent or underprepared.

  • concerned that without sharpening your presence and communication, your true potential will remain untapped.

It’s time for this to change.

The real challenge isn’t just that you're busy or missing a few opportunities, it’s that the way you're showing up right now doesn’t fully reflect the value, influence, and impact you're capable of.

You’re operating at a level that’s good enough to stay in the game, but not powerful enough to truly change the game. Until you align your personal brand, presence, message, engagement and inspiration, you’ll keep working harder for smaller returns, instead of letting your influence do the heavy lifting for you.

It’s time to take the lead

You were never meant to play small. Your ideas, leadership, and influence deserve to be seen, heard, and respected.

The frustration you feel isn’t a sign of failure, it’s a sign that you’re ready for your next level.

When you take the lead in how you show up, you don’t just change your career, you change how others respond to you. Now is the time to stop waiting for recognition and start building your presence that commands it.

Become an influential presenter

Table showing five levels of activity with focus and influence descriptions. Level 5, Rockstar, is fun and 100% influenced; Level 4, Engager, has conviction and 80% influence; Level 3, Practitioner, has presence and 50% influence; Level 2, Reader, has insights and no influence; Level 1, Refuser, has purpose and negative influence. © Jane Anderson.

The journey to Presenting With Influence:

  1. Refuser – You’re avoiding speaking in front of groups, perhaps you can’t see the benefit or why you should even bother.

  2. Reader – You’re reading from slides because it’s easier to have the information in front of you. The content and delivery is uninteresting and frankly, boring.

  3. Practicer – You’ve rehearsed to perfection however you’ve forgotten about your audience, you’re delivering to an audience rather than connecting with them.

  4. Engager – You’re thinking about the outcomes and intention behind your presentation, you know your audience and you’re designing and delivering with purpose.

  5. Rockstar – You’re now able to make the experience memorable, fun and interesting. Your audience is on board, you’re on message and you’ve been able to influence the audience to do what you want them to do. Hooray!

How it works….

Step 1 - DECISION

At this stage work together to decide on the key message, the specific goals and actions you want people to take as a result of your presentation. We look at what makes you unique, memorable and relatable for the audience along with how to structure your message to give it maximum impact.

Step 2- CRAFT

At this point we build out the detailed structure of the keynote. We layer specific frameworks, anchors and messages to align the presentation with the outcomes you’re looking for. We look at the areas such as the context of the conference, what specific points you want to make and how to convey your message in a compelling way.

Step 3- POLISH

Now we really start to really start to layer in the engagement in your presentation. We map the elements of connection with your audience so you can see where to fine tune to elevate it and where to correct if it feels like it’s not landing. From the introduction right to the final minute we craft captivating your audience.

Step 4- PRACTICE

Now is the time to practice, rehearse and start to really know the content well so that you can focus on the present moment and connect with the audience even more. This helps you to master the entertaining, engaging and insightful presentation you’ve dreamt of having.

STEP 5- ADAPT

Here we work on the mastery of adapting your presentation to different audiences. Not every audience has the same challenge so we work on areas such as dealing with different event briefs and what to do when problems arise on the day. This is all about how to be the professional who is booked again!
