Shining the Light on Leadership, High Performance and Wellbeing Expert, Dr Julie Rowse

Meet Dr Julie Rowse,

Leadership, High Performance and Wellbeing Expert

In this edition of our "Shining the Light" series, we're delighted to introduce Dr. Julie Rowse, a distinguished mental health occupational therapist and author dedicated to enhancing leadership through mental fitness.

Dr. Rowse's Vision and Expertise

With 24 years of experience, Dr. Julie Rowse is passionate about empowering individuals to live life to the fullest. She believes that through individual, family, and group therapy, as well as training and educational programs, she can help others attain positive mental health.

The Mentally Fit Leader

Dr. Rowse's book, The Mentally Fit Leader, is designed for those in leadership positions who are often perceived as being able to 'do it all.' By learning how to maintain good mental health and wellbeing, leaders will feel better and function more effectively at home and work.

Programs and Workshops

To further support leaders, Dr. Rowse offers "The Mentally Fit Leader Masterclass," a workshop that helps participants understand the cost-benefit of managing stress, prioritize their own mental health and wellbeing, and implement practical and achievable steps to become mentally fit leaders.

Embracing Inclusion and Diversity

Dr. Rowse embraces the importance of inclusion and diversity and supports the LGBTIQA+ community. She is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all people, including all cultures, religions, disabilities, and walks of life.

Through her work, Dr. Rowse continues to inspire leaders to prioritize their mental health, fostering environments where individuals and teams can thrive.

What I love most about Julie is her passion and commitment to helping leaders thrive. Julie's years of experience and deep work having undertaken her PhD means she has all the underpinning expertise, of course, combined with her real-world clinical expertise and leaders in the workplace, she knows that practical day-to-day challenges leaders allowing them to have greater control, confidence and influence over their work instead of feeling like they're pushed around in a pinball machine dealing with constant change and everyone else's needs. Julie's warm humour and genuine care really set her apart in creating high-performing leaders and teams.
