What got her here?

Rita has led teams and held C-suite roles in human resources in various industries, including technology, health, financial services and higher education. She has also served on the board of a public hospital.

She worked with leaders in developing high-performing and healthy team cultures. Her work with organisations helps them to develop a culture that delivers an optimal experience for their teams and their customers.

She is an author, speaker, facilitator, leadership expert and executive coach. Her focus areas are team and individual performance, leadership development and better ways of working.

Rita helps people live better, work smarter and be authentic. It takes less energy to be yourself, and it builds trust, which is at the heart of all relationships.

Who does she work with?

Individuals

As a leadership expert Rita works with individuals to help them elevate their performance. By applying the same principles that are used in strategic planning, she will assist her clients in identifying their endpoint or north star and help them work out how they will get there and what they need to consider along the way. In this process, the client will identify their vision (endpoint), purpose (why), goals (how) and deliverables (when).

Rita is accredited in a range of diagnostic tools and has many years of experience interpreting and providing feedback on psychometric tools and assessments. Her coaching style incorporates a blend of coaching and mentoring.

Teams

Rita loves working with a team to help it elevate its performance. Teams are complex and dynamic, which is why working out what needs to change to help the team perform can be hard but a rewarding challenge. She helps teams improve their communication and trust and develops a better sense of what the team is there to do and how it will know it has achieved its goals.

Boards

As a non-executive director, she has a solid understanding of what boards look for in people and culture strategies and the level of assurance they need around culture, diversity, remuneration and strategy.

As a leadership expert Rita has worked with HR leaders, chairs of remuneration and people and culture sub-committees of boards to ensure the business strategy is integrated and aligned with their people and culture Strategy.

She also works with boards that are seeking to improve and enhance their ways of working for increased performance and effectiveness.
