Aircraft technician to chartered engineer to professional coach
Julia Gibney is the director of WINTER AND ASSOCIATES and is a 2023 Victoria Professional Engineer of the Year - Nominee.
After serving 23 years in the ADF as an aircraft technician and engineering officer, she is now a professionally chartered engineer who teaches, coaches and mentors the next generation of engineers who want more out of their careers and lives.
She uses her wealth of industry experience and her formal coaching qualifications (from the only globally recognised, independent credentialing program for coach practitioners) to mentor and coach individuals from all walks of life.
She can do this as she has worked successfully over the last 30 years in the aviation, defence and rail environments, as well as lecturing at the university level and coaching and mentoring for most of her career.
Her career and personal life have flourished as she continually learned to overcome adversity and develop resilience. And she wants to share her learnings with you.
Passionate and motivated
As a professional coach, she is passionate and motivated to help others in achieving their career goals. She wants to help connect her clients with their purpose, so they can achieve their most desired outcomes and reach their full potential.
Julia helps people with limiting beliefs about their capabilities and self-worth. Or those who feel overwhelmed or at a junction, unable to move forward, fearing that they haven’t got what it takes.
Whether her clients are new to the job market and trying to find their place in it or an individual who’s ready to take on their next greatest challenge (be it work-related or personal growth) – She is there to help them overcome their most significant challenges and become the best version of themselves, day in, day out.
Working together, she’ll help her clients overcome their obstacles, realise their most desirable outcomes and take the right steps to make them their reality.
